BRENDA IS IN PORT CHARLES

Jason somehow got Brenda on a plane to Port Charles. Again she was complaining about returning to the states, which who can blame her. Every time she is in Port Charles, something bad happens to her. Why would anyone want to rush back to a place that has so many bad memories? Well unfortunately she has no choice if she wants to stay alive. Jason is the only one who can protect her- miraculously- and he is determined to be back home.

When they finally get to his place, it's like a revolving door. First they are greeted by Spinelli who is enthralled that The Divine One has arrived and graced him with his presence. He had Jason's apartment decked out in pink much to his master's horror. After Spinelli, got a chance to meet Michael and learned a few things about the poor teen's life including the tragedy involving Claudia and the jail time. Rightfully so, she was speechless but who knows. Maybe she'll become an unlikely person he could confide in. Wouldn't that make Carly's blood boil.

While the young men are streaming through Jason's apartment, Sam asked for Maxi's assistance to find something sexy to wear for when she finally sees Jason again- and comes face to face with the "cool" Brenda Barret. Maxi is not completely present as they discuss clothes. Her mind is still with Robin who is still missing. This even gets Sam involved who called in looking for information before going to Jason's and coming face to face with Brenda.

Growing weaker in the well, Robin keeps her hopes up by talking to daughter, Emma. Unfortunately, the watch keeps reminding her of all the medication she has missed by being trapped. On the surface, Patrick is scrambling to find clues about his wife's whereabouts with the help of Steve. Too bad Mac is not helping as much. Instead he had him locked up. Luckily- or unluckily- Lisa gets Patrick released angering Mac. They meet back at the hospital where Steve draws him away and tells him that a patient gave Lisa access to his isolated cabin.

Away from all the drama in Port Charles, Sonny took Claire to his island where they fished and had a few intimate moments, sharing histories and past stories. Then they mood is ruined by a phone call. I'm quite happy that it was ruined because it was kind of boring. But that's just me. Maybe they are trying to make Claire's character more likeable. I don't know.

September 29, 2010

The big moment for all Robin-Stone fans finally came. They were reunited- even if it was in the comfort of Robin's mind and heart. They reminisce about the good old days and Stone pointed out to her that they were teenage lovers and Robin would have no idea if their love would have lasted. He tells her that she needs to let him go and remember why she fell in love with Patrick in the first place. Maybe now that she has faced the truth within herself, she will be able to stop comparing the two men her life and be able to move on with her life.

While Robin gains her strength and reasoning, Lisa is back in the hospital and tells Patrick how the police ransack her apartment and impound her car. Portraying the concern friend who "knows" his wife just abandoned them like she did before, he listens and agrees with her that Mac was out of control. Then in storms Mac ready to arrest.... Patrick. I believe this arrest was planned in order to push Lisa to do something in order to protect Patrick. Whether she trips over herself to protect the man she loves but has scorned her still needs to be seen.

As they try to get Lisa to confess, Johnny admits to Olivia that though he is trying to find Robin for Maxi's sake, he still believes that Robin ran off again. After all she has done it before. Olivia smooches all over him saying how proud she is of him. Thankfully they were interrupted when Ethan and Maya dropped in wanting to use Johnny's apartment. Olivia dragged Johnny to her apartment giving the "love birds" some private time. Alone, Maya and Ethan begin talking about family which has be believing that Maya's family is going to get a bigger role soon. You know, idle conversations are never really idle.

As Ethan is romancing Maya, his brother is trying not to get caught up. He finds out that Siobhan overheard everything he, Dante and Lulu said. After racing her down to a dark alley, he confronts her and puts it all on the line for her but she runs away. Just then, two cops came up and arrested him. While he's being arrested, Dante and Lulu's car breaks down in the middle of nowhere at night. I guess they can cuddle with the roaming sheep.

Back in Port Charles, Carly is still planning to destroy Dante's career with Spinelli's help. Then Carly continues to run errands as she goes to Sam's place to ask her about Jason and Brenda. Aggravated by the intrusion, Sam points out that she knows why Carly is intimidated by Jason running to Brenda's aid- because they are two high-maintenance women who Jason feels compelled to help. I was so proud of Sam finally getting to Carly the way no one could. By comparing her to Brenda really got her good. She just stormed out ranting that she had nothing in common with Brenda Barret which we all know is ridiculous. They have at least three things in common: Sonny, Jason and Jax. Carly might have married both Sonny and Jax where Brenda could not, but Brenda married Jason something even Carly could not do.

Once Sam got rid of Carly, she got another visitor: Molly. Molly came over wanting to vent about Sonny and Claire. Sam sat her down and had to straighten her out- nobody is perfect, even the people you love and want to look up to. Frankly, I first liked Molly but now she is becoming as annoying as Kristina is. What has Alexis been doing to her daughters? Good grief.

Robin's Missing! Now what are the people of Port Charles going to do about it?

As Robin attempts to climb out of the old well, Patrick, Mac and Maxi are climbing the walls. Patrick and Steve continued their charade, trying to trick Lisa into telling Patrick the whereabouts of Robin. Little do they know that Lisa knows all about the plan and she's keeping to her story. Being the smart psycho that she is, she has her tracks covered and story perfectly set. Getting nowhere with her, and thanks to Mac's interference, Patrick had to seek someone else to help him find his wife. The person he runs to... Spinelli.

Patrick is not the only one to seek people involve in the mob to find Robin. Maxi runs to Johnny's place- interrupting his time with Olivia- and begs him to help her find Robin. Johnny points out that he was there when they found Emma during Robin's postpartum depression. Maxi assures him that its Lisa who is doing all of this and is at fault. Johnny finally relents and Olivia tells him that she is happy that he is able to help.

They are going to need all the help they can get. Mac and the police department is not going to get Lisa to confess. It's going to be hopeless. But Mac tries to bear down on Lisa who is putting up a convincing act of innocence but Mac is not buying. However, he might not have enough evidence to keep her there. He better put on the pressure and put it on quick- even though I doubt it will do any good.

Maybe the person they need to put the pressure on her is Sonny. However, he is detained by a few other women in his life. He plans on taking Claire off on a romantic weekend getaway. Guess who walks in on him and Claire though- Molly. That girl is popping up everywhere lately. Coming over to drop over her sister's senior year pictures, she tells Sonny that Kristina would not approve of him dating the lady responsible for Michael's arrest. Uncle Sonny sits her down and tries to explain the situation to her. Once she is gone, Claire is back ready for their trip.

They are not the only people going on a trip. Newly dressed by Maxi, Brook is ready for her trip with Nikolas. Aboard his private plane, he quizzes her which she passes with flying colors. However, she begins thinking about the situation and goes into a full on panic attack. Nikolas calms her down and tells her that he believes in her.

Across the pond, his sister and brother are neck deep in trouble. After Dante and Lucky do away with The Balkan's men, they meet up with Lulu and go back to Ronan's apartment. Little do they know as they discuss the cover, Siobhan is hiding in the closet. She overhears everything.

September 27, 2010

Today's Episode was a lot of people leaving...

  • Claire and Sonny left Carly at her work after Carly kept needling Sonny about using Claire to get over Brenda who "obviously" sent him back
  • Lulu and Dante refused to leave Lucky's side even though Lucky warned them that their presence is putting his job and life in jeopardy
  • Jason told Brenda that she is not safe in Rome and that THEY will be leaving together and return to Port Charles
  • Lisa left Robin in an abandoned well
Now what does all that mean? Well...

Still drowsy and dizzy thanks to the medicine that Lisa slipped into her pill box, Robin listened as Dr. Niles went over her version of what happened and how horrible it must be for Patrick to be married to Robin, poisoning her mind and putting doubt there and playing on her insecurities. Playing right into Lisa' s plan, Robin runs out of the cabin, into the woods and falls down into a suspiciously open abandon well. Happy that everything is going smoothly, Lisa returns to the hospital and lies that she had been in at the movies and that is why her phone had been off. A panicking Patrick, feigns anger towards Robin when he and Steve tell Lisa about Robin's disappearance and Emma being found in an abandoned car.

Carly was being smug as she sat across the table from her ex-husband, Sonny. They discussed his relationship with Claire and Carly insisted that Sonny was only with Claire was because she was a challenge and because he couldn't have the only other brunette he would want- Brenda. Just as Brenda's name popped up, Claire appeared and Sonny ushered them back to his house where they made love again.

Dante continued to plea his case to Lucky, trying him to leave Ireland and Ronan and The Balkan to return home safe and sound. Of course Lucky refuses and reminds Dante that he is doing his job and he does not care about the danger. When they finally realize that Lucky was not going to budge, Dante accompanies him to a mysterious location to meet a few more of The Balkan's men. The shootout breaks out and they kill the other men. Then they heard sirens. Dante was ready to run but Lucky told him to go without him. Back in Ronan's apartment, Lulu opens the door to Siobhan. Siobhan storms in there to protect Ronan and Lulu suspects that she likes the "new Ronan."

As Brenda is shivering through the heroin dose that is going through her system, she and Jason talk about the past and Sonny. They have a nice friendly moment just before their scene closed with Jason telling her that her protection there in Rome was insufficient. The only way he could protect her is if she came back to Port Charles with him. So, who's going to tell Carly the good news?

September 24, 2010

Today's Friday episode was a bit of a let down. No big cliff hangers or dramatic moments to hold us for the weekend. I think yesterday's episode was more in tune for what we're use to for Friday episodes.

Oh well. What did happen? A drugged Robin has fallen into Lisa's hand and no one is listening to Patrick who knows that something is wrong. I would wish that Mac would get off his soap box- reading to persecute Patrick for being a cheater- and actually listen to the man who is sincerely worried about his wife and daughter. And he should be worried because Lisa is completely deranged. Feigning innocence, even in Robin's face, Lisa starts planting seeds of doubt in Robin's hazy and vulnerable mind. Creepy in so many ways.

Speaking of creepy and a bit possessive, Claire continues to make her tour around Port Charles telling everyone who is willing to hear/listen that she has told her superiors that she has had a conflict in interest and can no longer persecute Sonny because she finds him a better lover than enemy. Carly is amused, I wish I could say the same thing for Jax who goes off about how Sonny is able to get off without any repercussions. Then just who pops in but Sonny which Carly begins to bounce around, knowing the reason Sonny is not in Rome saving Brenda- because he has his hands full with Claire.

Sonny and Carly would probably not be happy if they knew what was going on in Rome. Just as Jason was about to leave, a few of The Balkan's henchmen were able to force their way into Brenda's room and drug her. Thanks to Suzanne, Jason was able to swing back to the hotel and come to the rescue. However, the fact that the men did not kill Brenda but wanted to her alive revealed that the Balkan does not want to shut-up Brenda. In fact, he wants her for a specific reason. The trick would be getting Brenda to admit what she knows.

I still think Brenda's secret has something to do with Dante's secret and Lucky's assignment in Ireland. After escaping The Balkan's men, he maneuvered himself around Dante and Lulu's surprise appearance in the pub where Siobhan was instantly suspicious of them. Now that they are there, Lucky will have a hard time posing as Ronan and trying to coax Lulu back to Port Charles. The second generation of Spencers are having their own adventure for a change. Luke would be so proud.

September 22, 2010

The picture that is causing another wave in Port Charles all the way from Rome. Tongues are wagging and people are wondering. Carly is upset- of course. Sam is trying to keep level-headed- good girl. Spinelli is being his usually daft self. Jax... well Jax is too concerned for his own good. I mean, he was just accepted back into his home. He should be more concerned about Carly than Brenda.

Inspired by Carly and Jax's decision to be together, Olivia goes to Johnny's place ready for a compromise. Personally, I'm bored with this couple. Johnny and Brooklyn would be more exciting as a couple. In my opinion, Olivia is NEVER going to accept Johnny's animosity with Sonny and Dante is NEVER going to accept his mother dating his father's mortal enemy.

Speaking of enemies, Nikolas asked Maxi to help style Brooklyn for their little trip to the quaint English countryside. Of course Maxi and Brook get into it, name calling and everything ensue before Brook walks away. Nikolas follows her and they agree to go along with their arrangement. Though I cannot see them as a couple per se, I like the idea of them together. They could have some fun together, pulling him out of his broodiness that he wears around like a cloak- something even Elizabeth hasn't managed to do recently. In fact, she's been the cause of much of his broodiness with her emotional mess. When she returns, it could be interesting to see how that develops and how Brook will fit into that arrangement.

Speaking of arrangements, Robin also told Matt the plan of exposing Lisa for who she is. Not completely convinced about it, though, Matt warns them that if Lisa is as crazy and smart as they believe she is, things could get really messy if she finds out. This is course said right after Robin takes the pill Lisa sneaked into her pill box earlier.

Back in Rome, Murphy confronts Jason about his intentions with Brenda. Trying to tell him the truth, Jason is interrupted by Murphy who tells him how lucky he is. I think it would nice if we saw more of Murphy, as in he follows Jason and Brenda to Port Charles. The town needs a few more good looking men. *Wink Wink*

September 21, 2010

Today's Episode was pretty much a set-up episode:

After being caught with their pants around the ankles (not really) by Diane and Max, Claire and Sonny called it a night, with Claire assuring Sonny that this was her own idea and she has no regrets. Once Claire was gone, Sonny called back Diane to scold her for lecturing him, but my girl Diane did not let him have the last word. She warned him that WHEN this ends horribly, Claire is not the kind of woman to just limp away licking her wounds.

Tracy shows up to tell Lulu to tell Lucky to forget about bringing Luke back because he's like an addiction she needs to get away from. Bringing up Lucky, makes Lulu more worried about her brother so she and Dante jump onto the nearest plane heading to Ireland. The quick getaway sears the Spencer blood in Lulu, intriguing her. Maybe there's a bit of her parents still bubbling under the surface.

The gala was awkward as best since Brenda felt like Jason was rude to their guests and everyone else, while Jason continued to point out that the security sucked. Still miffed, they decided to go to bed but Jason had to run to her side when he heard her scream. Luckily it was only a nightmare that she did not want to tell him about. Could be interesting to know if she has nightmares has anything to do with the reason The Balkan is after her.

It is interesting that half of the people in Carly's life are being involved in this entire Balkan crisis/mystery while she is welcoming her husband back home. When The Balkan becomes more of closer object/person, I'm sure his presence is going to affect her happy home- because Carly can never stay happy for long. They jumped the small hurdle of Morgan not wanting Jax to adopt him thanks to Michael talking and encouraging him to take Jax's name. In my opinion, everything is too happy and nice and neat to last much longer.

Then again, there is going to be some mess going on in the Drake household now that Lisa knows that they were all playing her. Sneaking into Mac's home where Robin and Emma are staying, she listened to Robin and Patrick in between putting some very dangerous drugs in Robin's pill box. *Spoiler* Drugging Robin and feigning innocence is probably not going to win her any brownie points with anyone in Port Charles.

September 20, 2010

In Rome, Brenda and Jason continued to have their battle of the wills as Brenda was trying to convince Jason that she needed to go to the gala and it was not just because of her celebrity. Thanks to Suzanne, who decided that she needed to dress a little bit more feminine for the "charming", "creative", "cuddly" Jason, she was able to prove that Brenda's attendance was important and a job so that they can help children who are working in slave conditions. Properly schooled of the seriousness of Brenda's attendance, Jason surrendered in letting Brenda go to the gala- with him as her bodyguard of course.... IN A TUX. Paparazzi were ready to point and flash their camera at the couple which only means one thing: Tabloid Shots. I wonder who in Port Charles is going to see it first? Carly?

Well Carly should be more focused on her family. Jax is back home and her family is complete. They all agree to be honest with one another which opened a new can of worms. Morgan might not want Jax to adopt him. How are they going to wheedle out of this? I'm sure Jax is slightly hurt and is going to argue that being the son of Sonny is a hindrance and is dangerous. He might find a unlikely partner in Michael is knows first hand how cruel the world is to the children of Sonny Corinthos.

As his sons are having dinner at home, Sonny shared a tender moment with Claire after they made love. Claire took responsibility of her actions and told Sonny that he was the loneliest man she had ever known. Boy is she getting sucked in like so many other people. They see the sensitive person Sonny is and forget about all the danger that his life evokes. To bring some comedy and craziness to this, though, Sonny and Claire stumble on Max and Diane on the patio. Clothes half falling off and limping on one heel, Diane gathered her dignity and happily told Claire that she had just been played. I personally love Diane. She has some of the best lines.

In Ireland, Lucky thought he was going to open the door to The Balkan but it is Siobhan who rushes in to warn him that three Slavic men were on their way to get him. She pleaded him to leave with her but he refused. When he finally convinced her to leave, she kissed him goodbye and left. The girl has guts and a stubborn streak- perfect for any woman who wants to tangle with a Spencer. After she left, Lucky called Dante requesting any information he can get on The Balkan. When Dante found out that Lucky was dealing with The Balkan he warned Lucky to get out but it was too late. He hung up the phone and answered the knock on the door- the Slavic men who were there to take him to The Balkan with a bag over his head.

Knowing Lucky was in trouble, Dante finally broke down and told Lulu and her brother is in over his head. More calm than Dante, Lulu questions Dante- just as Spinelli had- about his connection with The Balkan. Dante slightly admitted that on a case, he was able to get some information this mysterious man who was vicious, unpredictable and ruthless- not someone you want to tangle with. So will Dante and Lulu decide to fly to Ireland to save Lucky?

September 17, 2010

Lisa had thought she had won the war. She had already planned to spend a weekend excursion with Patrick so they could watch their favorite pastime- Nascar. She was so sure of her plan that she kissed Patrick in public at the hospital then walked away. Patrick had no excuse when Steve told him that Robin was going to find out (everyone knows that the hospital employees loved good gossip) except to say that he had no choice. Patrick was later accosted by his cousin-in-law, Maxie who also had to make a few digs in Lisa. Unfortunately, Patrick vowed in the hospital to Maxie that he was only doing this to trap Lisa. They should know better that the hospital walls have ears- ears attached to the blond that they are speaking of! LISA KNOWS! And what does she do, ask for a nurse to get some serious drugs for a "patient." Uh-oh.

While Patrick was spilling the beans unknowingly to Lisa, Robin was getting informed by Steve who went straight to her place after leaving the hospital. This was after Maxie had left her, telling Robin that she should forgive Patrick. Just because he cheated on her does not mean that he does not love her. Maxie reminds her- and later Patrick- she speaks from experience. Does this mean she is still secretly pining for Spinelli or has that boat sailed and gone?

Is love enough? That was the question Carly asked Jax after he showed up at their house. He convinced her that they had been happy and they needed to move forward so he's moving back home. How long this will last, is anybody's guess. I guess that was a happy ending for a stressful day for Carly. She had just returned from Jason's where she was still upset that Jason had gone to Rome for Brenda. When Jason called Spinelli to get information about The Balkan, Carly took the phone at the same time Brenda took Jason's phone wanting whoever was on the other line to convince Jason to go back to Port Charles. Then she heard Carly's voice and couldn't help rubbing it in her face that Jason was there to protect her. Frankly I don't blame Brenda. She has more reason to despise Carly than the other way around. After all, if it wasn't for Carly opening her big mouth, Jax would not have canceled their wedding.

Once Michael and Carly left, Spinelli got down to business trying to find information about The Balkan when Dante showed up. Seeing the information on Spinelli's screen, he demanded to know what Spinelli knew of The Balkan and Spinelli wondered the exact same thing. Dante's connection with The Balkan could go back to the story he just finish telling his father about, when during a case he got too close to a woman and used another woman to get over her. That case could have something to do with The Balkan and the woman could be.... *stage whisper* Brenda. Dun dun dun. That would actually be funny to see. Another man in Port Charles for Brenda to have connections with. She might put Lulu and Carly back on the same side.

Speaking of the Spencers, Lucky convinced Siobhan that he was Ronan but he has changed- found religion and conscience. Seeing a new side of "Ronan" she leaves him with a warning, telling him to take care of himself. Now that he's different, it could get him kill. After all, an assassin cannot show compassion and do the job right. Once she left, "Ronan" got a phone call to meet someone and Lucky is about to really be tested.

Back in Port Charles, Claire and Sonny are just about to get frisky. She has put her career on the line for him and feels liberated while he just wants to get lost in her, leaving all thoughts of Brenda in Rome. As if he could.

September 16, 2010

Jason and Brenda come face to face after all the build up and it was just as I expected- him being calm and stoic while she was emotional and stubborn.... classic. After a wedding photo shoot that dredged up happy and sad memories for Brenda, she stormed up to her apartment where Suzanne was waiting for her. Off on an emotional rampage, Brenda was barking off orders of how she wanted to go on a mission when there was a knock on the door. Low and behold it was Jason on the other side.

Jason's in Rome and Carly finally knows. Of course she did not take it lightly. Furious that Jason would leave her kids and her- especially since she should be his top priority (insert eye roll here)- she went off in front of Sam. Fortunately Carly was able to calm down enough to tell Sam she had nothing to worry about concerning Jason and Brenda. Breaking into the conversation, Michael made a surprise visit hoping to catch Jason. Michael's appearance only stirred up more things in Carly that had been brewing since earlier that day.

After Carly had been arguing with Jax about their future, one of her least favorite people decided to show up. Dante told her and Jax about the incident at Madison and Carly was furious that the school called Dante instead of her. Jealous and angry, she had to bite her tongue before it lashed out at him. Making the rounds, Dante decided to stop by at Sonny's where they had a sweet father-son moment. Sonny admitted to Dante that he is using Claire to get over Brenda- though he never uses her name. Does Dante know Brenda? Is she part of his secret past? Wouldn't that be a twist that would have Sonny twisted up inside.

Speaking of twists, Lucky managed to survive his first knife brawl in the Irish pub and escorted Siobhan  up to his room. He was not expecting to pull out a gun, ready to shoot him. Thinking fast and taking advantage of her hesitation, he snatched the gun out of grasp and gave it back. However, he might have just blown his cover.

September 15, 2010

Meet Siobhan- the newest member of General Hospital. She will be linked to Lucky as he tries to convince everyone that he is the deceased assassin Ronan O'Rielly. However, it might look like his cover is blown before he could do anything. Who is Siobhan and how is she going to help Spencer? Frankly I am so happy that Lucky is getting a good storyline that is filled with danger and intrigue- a plot worthy of a Spencer. Luke would be happy- if it didn't involve helping the "good guys."

Dante had to be the guy to help everyone out today. Not only is the only contact Lucky made- telling him the truth (which was a stroke of genius since Dante knows about fooling people)- but he also had to come to Michael's rescue when one of his classmates decided to play tough guy. First verbally attacking Kristina, the school jock, friend of Kiefer, decided to push Michael around when Michael decided to protect his sister. The headmaster called Dante claiming that Michael has already gotten in trouble on his first day of school.

First off, I don't know why everyone was pushing Michael to go back to that snotty prep school after all the mess he went through before. They were ready to ridicule and push him around because he was "brain dead" and the son of Sonny Corinthos. Why did everyone think things will be better now that he had actually spent time in Pentonville? As if no one was going to throw that in Michael's face! Good grief. Well thankfully Dante came in and got the truth out, because before he came their classmates were ready to blame Michael. Then he asked them point blank, Taylor told everyone the truth and then the classmates agreed with Taylor. At first I thought they were going to dismiss Taylor's version because he's friends with Kristina, but they didn't. They are such sheep.

Well while Dante was rescuing his brother, Lulu was warning hers about Brook Lynn. Nikolas and Brook should have known that going to Mike's would be asking for trouble. Everyone drops in there. Not only did they confront Lulu, but Carly also had to put her two cents in. This is of course after she and Jax had another round about Jax wanting Brenda on his cover.

Of course, the argument was not resolved there. It was picked up again when Carly dropped in on Jax as he was telling Maxie that he doesn't want any mention of Brenda in their magazine despite that she was the face of their biggest contributor. Barging into the meeting, Carly demanded to know how dumb did Jax think she is. Once Maxie left, she told Jax that it was not about Brenda being in Crimson but about her being in Jax's heart. Of course I find this highly hypocritical since she has continuously told Jax that Sonny and Jason will always have places in her heart. I guess she can love whoever she wants, but he has to be completely and wholly loyal and committed to her despite anything else.

Speaking of shaky marriages, Robin confronted Lisa, Patrick and Steve in General Hospital when she was under review over being reinstated in the hospital. Sitting across the table from Robin, Lisa calmly said that she believed that Robin needed psychological help after she ran her over, attacked her, threatened her and boiled her own child's toy. Enraged, Robin went on a rampage, accused of Patrick, Steve and Lisa being cahoots- since Lisa had slept with both men- and stormed out of the room.

September 14, 2010

BRING IT ON!
Maxie tried to help, but Jax admitted it and now Carly is hopping mad. It was his idea for BRENDA to be on the cover of Crimson. How could he? Easy. Despite what he tells his wife, he still wants to protect Brenda from Sonny's influence and since he promised he wouldn't fly to Rome why not fly Brenda to Port Charles under the guise of a photo shoot- all business related, right? Ha! Nothing is purely business when it comes to these people. Stomping mad, Carly storms into Jake's and orders beer and shots. Fuming and getting close to drunk, she told the bartender (whose name escapes me right now) that she is keeping what is hers, namely her men- her husband, her ex-husband and her best friend. Is it me or is Carly just as spoiled, self-centered and needy as she claimed Brenda is?

I guess Carly is going to have a conniption when she finds out that not only was Jason contacted by Brenda's agent, but is already on his way to Rome before consulting with her. Who is going to get an earful? Jax? Spinelli? Sam? I can see Carly trying to plant doubt and suspicions in an already insecure Sam's mind. Even after all of Jason's reassurance that there is nothing between him and Brenda and he is only going there to sae her life, with Spinelli's adoration and Carly's poison-drenched words, Sam will probably be imaging all sorts of things while Jason is away. Hopefully Jason will return quickly to assure her that she has his heart.

Speaking of hearts, after Dante warns his mother to stay away from Johnny- who still believes that she loves Sonny- he returns home to make love to his sweetie, Lulu. Being the overly sappy woman in love she has become, Lulu tells Dante that despite Carly's claim of the opposite, she always believed that Dante would stick to his morals and scruples. It's funny that Lulu is putting so much emphasis on morals and scruples after her checkered past- drugging and sleeping with a friend's boyfriend, getting an abortion, running around with Johnny herself, plus a few other things, plus being the daughter of Luke Spencer. Lulu really should not be able to get on her high horse so quickly and easy without realizing that she's not perfect either. Of course, based on Dante's haunted expression after she said that, it appears that he's not that perfect either and he knows it.

Dante's Daddy Dearest, finally released after Johnny told the truth, decided that the perfect way to celebrate was to cook for a seduce Claire Walsh. Whether this is an elaborate plan to compromise her more and humiliate her for trying to play him or a way to distract him from Brenda, he is putting in all of what he's worth into his seduction. Romantic home cooked meal on the patio. Homemade canolli to nibble on while sitting in front of a fire. Yes, he really wants to set the scene. Wouldn't it be interesting if it bites him in the butt and she ends up pregnant after he is ready to let her go. Well if that happens then her mission would be accomplished- she wanted to have his child.

Isn't it ironic that one of the few women that Sonny slept with but never had a child with is Brenda- the love of his life that is always out of reach. Well, it seems like she is out of reach for everyone, including her fiance Murphy. She told him that she could not marry him because she was still conflicted over her past love- Sonny. What she doesn't know is that Suzanne has gone behind her back and ensured her a bodyguard she cannot dismiss so easily- call in Jason Morgan, her ex-husband.

Speaking of husbands, Robin confronted Patrick and Lisa at Jake's making a mini-scene before sitting down with Steve to inform him what her plan is with Patrick. Pleading that they want to protect Emma's life, she told him that he could help by pretending to be the new guy in her life. Steve declines, which I understand, but offers to give her a ride home as a friend. It is not quite clear if he believes Robin, but it doesn't matter since Lisa watched them leave together. Reaching across the table, she assured Patrick that it was all for the best.

September 13, 2010

Brenda is attacked, but thanks to the paparazzi she was able to elbow one of the thugs and escape. Now Suzanne and Murphy are upset. Suzanne wants her to leave the country. Murphy wants both of them to drop everything so he could be there for his lady love. Stubborn Brenda, though, won't have it. She refuses. So Suzanne does something that is going to make several people explode: call Jason.

Jason and Dante have finally seen the entire video caught by the construction worker who witnessed Sonny and Johnny's duel on Baker Street. There is no concrete proof to back up Sonny's claim, but they decide to use it's existence to bluff Johnny into telling the truth. Working together, Jason and Dante get Sonny and Johnny together so they can talk out a true. Olivia's shocked by this turn of events which might be ruined by Claire's abrupt entrance. Then again, she should be the first one to support this. Then she won't have to make any conjugal visits at Pentonville.

Still bruised by his time in Pentonville, Michael is inspired by Sonny's return. He decides that if his dad could stand another trial, then he can stand another year in school- even surrounded by judgmental, spoil snobs. Especially for his emotionally messed up sister, Kristina, who finally admitted to her father and Ethan that she was happy that Sonny returned. *SPOILER* According to reports, both Kristina and Michael will be getting an injection of relationships in their storyline. Will they be able to overcome their disgust of being touched by other people?

Carly is happy that Michael has decided to go back to school and has attributed it to Sonny's return. On a high, she decided to seduce her willing husband, Jax, in his office. If only their happy mood could stay. However, that was unlikely especially with Maxi knocking on the door for Jax's approval for Crimson's new cover. And guess who Jax requested to be on the cover- BRENDA!!!

My prediction: Carly is going to explode tomorrow then storm off to vent to Jason who is going to have to tell her he just got a call from Brenda's agent. Carly's gonna go on a rampage!

September 10, 2010

Friday episodes are usually great because they leave you with cliffhangers persuading you to tune in next week.

Lisa watched in delight as Patrick and Robin argued and as they schemed, Patrick sided with Lisa. Back at the hospital, Patrick "apologizes" to Lisa who tells him that he should not let his work suffer because his wife is a "wack-job". Hopefully by the end of this month, if not in a few days, the entire hospital will know who the real wakc-job is in Port Charles.

Speaking of women who will do anything crazy to get their men, Carly had to visit Sonny at his return and demand to know if Brenda was the one who suggested he come back. Wanting to rub salt in the wound, she stated that why wouldn't Brenda want him to return to PC, he was interfering with her great life. As she left, Claire came in and admitted to Sonny that she believes in him but won't drop the charges. Instead, there will be another prosecuter for Diane to outwit.

Thankfully for Diane and Sonny, Dante finally believes Jason that Ronnie is playing dirty. He confronted Ronnie who did everything but deny the accusations. Now they need to prove it. Luckily, they were able to follow a lead to a physical witness- that's right. Everyone who saw the man in the construction orange jacket in the background can now exhale- they found him. The man saw the exchange between the two mobsters and even better- he has video. How much video and what it shows is still to be determined.

Speaking of Luck, Lucky might need some as he has been enlisted to aid Interpol in tracking down The Balkin. As miraculous as it is, a look-alike who was an assassin for The Balkin was killed at a soccer game in a freak accident. Now Lucky is being requested to take this man's identity and infiltrate The Balkan's camp. Say goodbye to Lucky Spencer, hello to Ronan O'Reilly.

While Lucky is going undercover, Nikolas has his own mission- self-imposed- to complete: to make a lady out of Brook Lynn. Shouldn't be hard since she is a Quartermaine, right? Think again. Though there might be times he will shake his head or roll his eyes, I think we can all see this arrangement will definitely become something that will be entertaining to us and threatening to Liz whenever she returns.

Back in Rome: Brenda gets assaulted by thugs again. This time, there is no one to protect her. Dun Dun DUN!!!

September 9, 2010

Sonny's Return is blazing through Port Charles, forcing people to pick sides. Jason is pushing Dante to find proof of Sonny's innocence and is also forcing Dante to realize something we all know: Ronnie cannot be trusted. Why is it that Jason is the only one who is suspicious that Ronnie is the cop who was the first on the scene? I mean, COME ON people. Is Dante that gullible- so willing to believe the best in the people around him that he cannot see past the nose on his face? Well he better wise up soon because he won't have Lucky to talk to for very long.

After getting money from Tracy to get Luke to come back home (though he cannot tell his dad that Tracy is involved in any way), Lucky is brought in by Interpol. It appears that they might be able to use our anxious, restless cop for some undercover work- impersonating his doppelganger who is fortunately dead. I guess Lucky is going out of the country for his own adventure.

His brother will be having his own mission: to change blunt, Bensonhurst born Brook Lynn into a suitable lady companion for a house party in England where they serve tea and scones. When she heard about her nephew's plan, Alexis was against it. Not only is Brook Lynn not exactly the most sociable person to bring to the English Countryside, but Nikolas is known for becoming obsessed with young women he believes he can help and mold. Is Brook his latest projects? Of course she is. Where is Dr. Higgins when you need him?

Where is Laney when you need her? Port Charles might need their resident psychiatrist on speed dial. With Robin and Patrick trying to trap Lisa into implementing herself, Maxie's warning should be on their minds- after all she knows all about the mind of the desperate seductress and screwup. So far their plan looks to be working as they staged an argument for Lisa's sake in the park where there are no other witnesses. Giddy with how well everything is going, Lisa might be feeling a bit cocky. However we all know that in the soap world, nothing is ever that easy. (Or at least we hope it isn't).

Speaking of easy, Lulu is making it way too easy for Carly. As she continues to fume and whine about Sonny and how conflicted Dante becomes when it comes to his father, she is just buying into Carly's concern act. Now that she knows that Sonny is returning to Port Charles, she goes off in a rant about how Dante is against everything that Sonny is (conveniently forgetting that Dante is also against everything that Luke is). Lulu just makes it so easy for Carly, giving her the opportunity to rock her confidence by declaring that since Dante has already put his badge on the line for Sonny before, he is likely to do it again. The next time Dante might lose his badge, though, might have Carly's fingerprints all over it (with Spinelli's help).

Carly seduces her husband, Jax. Does this mean that things are back to happily ever after with them? Of course not! This Carly we're talking about. Am I the only one who wonders if Carly seduced Jax because of Brenda- reclaiming him/ reminding him what she has to offer--- just like she did when they were separated and she wanted him to fight for her.

In Rome, Brenda and Sonny caught each other up in their lives. Brenda even pushed Sonny to return to Port Charles. Not only to prove his innocence but for his children who need him. Whether he leaves be the end of this week or later on still needs to be seen.

Back home, Brenda's friend Robin has moved her and Emma into her Uncle Mac's place after being suspended from work for punching Lisa- which was natural- in front of witnesses- which was dumb. Robin needs to start using her brains if she wants to prove who the real unbalanced psycho is in the hospital. Thankfully Patrick has come up with a plan to expose Lisa for the liar she is. Luckily, not many in the hospital believe Lisa in the first place. Nikolas and Steve both agree that Lisa has been acting wrong, and Nikolas clearly announces that he does not believe in Lisa. Hopefully Patrick's plan will work out, but I know it won't. The question is who is going to get hurt when the real S#it hits the fan- him, Emma or Robin?

Back to Nikolas, his baby sister Lulu was not excited to see that Brook Lynn had made Windemere her new home. Coming over to drop off a gift for her nephew- after embarrassing herself and Michael who walked in on her in lingerie waiting for Dante- she was outraged when the face she first sat was Brook, sitting in a chair comfortably at home. Then Nikolas came in, defended Brook, told Lulu the one she should be angry with is Carly and told him that this was none of her business. Feeling betrayed, Lulu left in a huff and was in no mood for romance with Dante waited for her with candles and no clothes. Instead, she flew into his apartment still sulking.

Across town, Spinelli was swooning over the pictures of Brenda- not understanding why Stone Cold did not like her. Jason laid it all out there- listing all the great qualities Sam has that attracted him to her. Perched on the stairs, she overheard everything and swooned herself. Of course, all these intimate moments where Jason explains how and why he loves Sam seems like it might be preluding to a few troubles in paradise that might occur when Brenda and Sonny returns to Port Charles. There has to be a reason why the writers are reminding the viewers why Jason and Sam love each other. I doubt Brenda can come between them, but according to gossip the secret that nobody knows (not even her) might be the reason.
