BRING IT ON!
Maxie tried to help, but Jax admitted it and now Carly is hopping mad. It was his idea for BRENDA to be on the cover of Crimson. How could he? Easy. Despite what he tells his wife, he still wants to protect Brenda from Sonny's influence and since he promised he wouldn't fly to Rome why not fly Brenda to Port Charles under the guise of a photo shoot- all business related, right? Ha! Nothing is purely business when it comes to these people. Stomping mad, Carly storms into Jake's and orders beer and shots. Fuming and getting close to drunk, she told the bartender (whose name escapes me right now) that she is keeping what is hers, namely her men- her husband, her ex-husband and her best friend. Is it me or is Carly just as spoiled, self-centered and needy as she claimed Brenda is?

I guess Carly is going to have a conniption when she finds out that not only was Jason contacted by Brenda's agent, but is already on his way to Rome before consulting with her. Who is going to get an earful? Jax? Spinelli? Sam? I can see Carly trying to plant doubt and suspicions in an already insecure Sam's mind. Even after all of Jason's reassurance that there is nothing between him and Brenda and he is only going there to sae her life, with Spinelli's adoration and Carly's poison-drenched words, Sam will probably be imaging all sorts of things while Jason is away. Hopefully Jason will return quickly to assure her that she has his heart.

Speaking of hearts, after Dante warns his mother to stay away from Johnny- who still believes that she loves Sonny- he returns home to make love to his sweetie, Lulu. Being the overly sappy woman in love she has become, Lulu tells Dante that despite Carly's claim of the opposite, she always believed that Dante would stick to his morals and scruples. It's funny that Lulu is putting so much emphasis on morals and scruples after her checkered past- drugging and sleeping with a friend's boyfriend, getting an abortion, running around with Johnny herself, plus a few other things, plus being the daughter of Luke Spencer. Lulu really should not be able to get on her high horse so quickly and easy without realizing that she's not perfect either. Of course, based on Dante's haunted expression after she said that, it appears that he's not that perfect either and he knows it.

Dante's Daddy Dearest, finally released after Johnny told the truth, decided that the perfect way to celebrate was to cook for a seduce Claire Walsh. Whether this is an elaborate plan to compromise her more and humiliate her for trying to play him or a way to distract him from Brenda, he is putting in all of what he's worth into his seduction. Romantic home cooked meal on the patio. Homemade canolli to nibble on while sitting in front of a fire. Yes, he really wants to set the scene. Wouldn't it be interesting if it bites him in the butt and she ends up pregnant after he is ready to let her go. Well if that happens then her mission would be accomplished- she wanted to have his child.

Isn't it ironic that one of the few women that Sonny slept with but never had a child with is Brenda- the love of his life that is always out of reach. Well, it seems like she is out of reach for everyone, including her fiance Murphy. She told him that she could not marry him because she was still conflicted over her past love- Sonny. What she doesn't know is that Suzanne has gone behind her back and ensured her a bodyguard she cannot dismiss so easily- call in Jason Morgan, her ex-husband.

Speaking of husbands, Robin confronted Patrick and Lisa at Jake's making a mini-scene before sitting down with Steve to inform him what her plan is with Patrick. Pleading that they want to protect Emma's life, she told him that he could help by pretending to be the new guy in her life. Steve declines, which I understand, but offers to give her a ride home as a friend. It is not quite clear if he believes Robin, but it doesn't matter since Lisa watched them leave together. Reaching across the table, she assured Patrick that it was all for the best.
